Blaqk Audio is Davey Havok & Jade Puget, AFI members, little side project they started back in 2006. While they progressiveley did include synthesized elements in the recent AFI albums, Blaqk Audio takes it up another notch by really focusing their effort into making it the main attraction to their music.
Bright Black Heaven, Blaqk Audio second album, is TBA to drop somewhere in 2010.
After a couple of fake Lasers leaks, here’s one that’s really going to appear on Lupe’s upcoming album as it was even confirmed by himself via his twitter. The fake leaks were done awhile ago and unreleased possibly for a reason as this one sounds much more polished and smoother all around.
Seems like another Canadian is getting on his FIFA World Cup grind that is going to happen this summer in Africa. Following the tracks of K’Naan with Wavin’ Flag being the official anthem of the FIFA World Cup, Sheldon Scott released this football/soccer related track entitled FIFA Glory produced by T-Minus.
I’ll add also this other song that he Sheldon sent me a week ago, but never got around to post it being a bit busy as of late, so I might aswell post it now as I’m already doing so for his new track. Enjoy.
Jónsi, member of Sigur Ros has a solo project coming out entitled Go and here’s the first video and single off of it. His album is due to drop on April 6 2010… he’s also planning a North American tour that tickets went on pre-sale as of yesterday. You could also get exclusive bonus track if you were to combine tickets with a pre-order of the album itself.
Here’s the video for the long released video off of David Guettas One love album “Memories” provides a nice visual for this song and with cudder bring his swag on this video is dope. peep the reflections in the mirror.
While the initial DJ Khaled yelling and rambling at the beginning of the song is definitely there, the beat of the song is, on the other hand, fairly different from the other typical Khaled songs. I think that having John Legend on the song is possibly what balance the whole things out as he brings a more R&B vibe to the song, piano and all.
Yes, finally new posts, sorry for the downtime and all, but some things had to be taken care of and what not. While I might not have posted for a couple of days, doesn’t mean I wasn’t lurking on the internet for the latest find. So today I bring you Die Antwoord (The Answer), a South African Afrikaans rap group that label themselves as playing Zef music, a term used in South Africa that basically means redneck/white trash. When I first heard, but especially when I first saw them, I wasn’t sure if it was serious or not, but apparently everything is, and well their unique look and take on their ‘in-your-face’ lyrics, really make them stand out of a crowd.
I’ll say that it really brings a whole new image to the usual redneck, as they do look the part, but more or less like hipsters gone wrong and also straight out of the beginning of the Borat Movie. Putting all of this together and it gives you an image that is as much appealing that it is catchy, one thing for sure is that I love it.
Last week, Lo-Fi-Fnk finally leaked/released a new song via their facebook. After a little hiatus of music, this single also marks the grand return of this Swedish band back on the scene and make us look forward for more of their material in 2010.

Here’s a new track off T-Pain’s fourth upcoming album rEVOLVEr featuring Young Jeezy. He’s definitely stacking up the greatest song titles for this one too, Take Your Shirt Off and now Reverse Cowgirl, puh-lease.
And if you missed his performance at The Grammys on sunday night with Jamie Foxx for Blame It, check it below… wasn’t the greatest of the night, but it was fitting I guess.
